me, my bird dog, hubby and freind of ours went out to a not so famous cutover close to the house...killt 2 dove outta the 6 we seen. We were doin more of shootin the bull than doves...lol

Good news was that wild woman made some beautiful points on a covey of quail. It was good so see quail....they are definatley on the comeback side of things...I've seen 6 different covey this year and all within a 10 mile range of my house. Hopefully other hunters will reort the same around these parts. I aint seen this many quail in part near 10 years...so I wont hunt em this year. I'll give em a few more years to rebound..then wild woman wont be pointin in vein

Funny note...a lone crow flew over us..it took 8 shots to miss him lol...I reckon we need to start shootin skeet again
