Observation

Out of boredom, wife and myself made a bunch of garage sales Fri and Sat.
Absolutely none of them had anything related to shooting/camping sports. I realize that we shooters are a shrinking breed but this was strange! There was absolutely nothing hanging in garages even related. Any one else noticing this?

Around these parts, it's mostly clothes. Unless it's an auction, most people seem to hang on to their hunting and fishing gear. I've had several yard sales in the past, and I either hand my stuff down or give it to someone in need. Although I do have several pair of boots that don't seem to tread water too well, I wouldn't mind parting with!

Petey, I'm not talking about for sale items, just stuff hanging around garage.
Fishing/hunting/camping...general outdoor stuff....total absence!

Dan,

I see the same thing here in northcentral PA; most Yard Sales are kids' clothes, toys, dishes and such like. Once in a while I happen on a real hunters' sale and get lots of cammy clothes, reloading tools, components, etc., for yard sale prices.

hitting the garage sales around here, will often result in a bargain with hunting, camping, or other outdoor gear.
