beaver problem

there is this golf course that's being depleted of all it's younger trees by beaver. now on this course there is no pond or damn for the beavers. just a creek that runs through the property, under the paved road and into another piece of property. now i'll be trapping on the golf course and the creek the runs through runs from about 10ft to as little as 2ft across. of course the first thing that popped into my mind was to make a blind channel set where the creek runs under the road and into the course but how do i make this set when the creek is 10ft. wide? thanks for any suggestions.

I would put a 330 just out from the bank on each side. Using dead wood for stakes I would form a fence with dead brush the rest of the way across the stream.

If there are many of the 2 foot wide spots I would just concentrate of those spots. If these spots are fairly deep just find a dead pole that will fit thru that trap springs and put it across the creek so the pole is right at water level. The beaver will dive under the pole and right into the trap. You will need to find a way to stabilize the pole so that it doesn't swing back and forth.
