magtech or starline brass

anyone have any feedback (+ or -) on handgun brass from these two companies? got a deal on new 40s&w brass, anything i should watch out for ? (other than the problems associated with brass previously fired in non-fully supported chamber).

I don't know about MagTech, but I don't think Starline sells anything but new, virgin brass. It's good stuff, too.

i'm not familiar with mag tech either. but i've used oodles of starline in 38 super, 357 mag, 44 mag and 45 colt. i use everything but the 38 super to hunt with. someday when i'm feeling real froggy i'll have to try it.

i especially like the starline because i can get nickle cases. i use those for my hunting loads. ends confusion. and don't flame me on nickle cases, i've heard it all before.

in the 38 super i've never had a bobble, no failures to feed or extraction problems....never. the starline brass has been 100% good to me.

I read an article about a year or so ago covering Magtech. The brass and ammo are manufactured in South America (Brazil, I think), Using equipment purchased from Remington. From what I understand, they utilize Remington specs. I wouldn't be afraid to use it.

Chet.
