Trigger for Mdoel of 1917

I have a Winchester Model of 1917 that was sporterized many years ago. It has a Timney trigger on it, but it seems to be the wrong trigger. The curve of the trigger sits too high and to the rear to be comfortable. Can anyone suggest a good aftermarket trigger?

The correct Timney trigger

I have a sporterized 1917 that has the correct Timney trigger and it works just fine. Another option would be to reinstall an original 1917 military trigger. All the best...

I compared a picture of the Timney trigger that is made for the P17 and the one on my rifle and they are different. Someone may have done some work on a trigger to make it fit.

I called a nearby gunsmith who has an original 1917 trigger and he says he can make it work real well for me. The other option is a Timney trigger or Basix (?).
