IS this normal and anyone else run wat i run

I am 14 and I have a ? I have run cat and coyote and coon but i also run hares and rabbits the pup i got goes so far and comes bak to me but each time he goes farther is this normal?

yea that with happen with pups sometimes they are just getting used to rangeing out sometimes they will stay at your feet when hunting have you ever tried hunting the pup with a older dog to see if he ranges out better im shure he would but if you don't have anohter dog to hunt him with just keep takeing him out and release some coon for him how does he tree and track just curious

welll he cant tree it is a beagle and i run rabbits wit him lol but he tracks. yhanks for the info

yea hunter thought you were talking about a treeing dog but some of that stuff i said also will work for a beagle by that hunting him with other dogs or when he comes back pay no attention to him and see if he goes away hunting again or you could find a fresh rabbit track to put him on
