I had a thing happen this morning that still blows my mind. I had stopped on a dirt road where a wrecker was wenching one out of the ditch, cable stretched across the road. When it cleared, two young state troopers at the scene, noticing my Vet plates, suddenly hit attention and rendered a salute until I drove on.......took a few minutes to realize what they were doing......was tearey eyed for
an hour.........no one ever cared to do that before. God bless them and our troops, ex and current! Dan
