Just checked the new 2007 rimfire offerings from Remington. Looks like they've dropped the Model 504 high end 22 bolt rifle. Now they have a Model 547 that appears high end and a Model 5 that looks low end.

Any ideas what gives with the short life of the 504 and why Big Green is making these rapid changes? 270man |

				Remington

Remington has been sold to a holding company. Sales on the 504 were not all that great(gonna be a sleeper as far as appreciation in the future). Hoping I am wrong but the new company may just run things into the ground....but hopefully they will make things better. Gun business is a really tough business now days

				I agree with skeet

The high end Remington .22 rifles were way too expensive. The gun shops I visit still have them on the racks and unsold. Take care...
