Big ol box
of military ammo got dropped off at my house recently. A fella I know, knows a fella who was cleanin out his garage.
So far I know I have alot of boxes labeled in russian, german, arabic (or maybe israely), and spanish. Calibers I can remember offhand 30-06 from chile 7.5x57 8mm mauser 6.? (I have about four different 6. bleh labeled types of ammo boxes) Alot of unmarked unboxed stuff. The cardboard box weighed about 80lbs. I dunno if any of this stuff is worth 2 cents but soon as I get it all cataloged I will post it for trade. Alot of this stuff is labeled from 1940s to 1950s. If there is something you are looking that might be the above let me know, I dunno if the ammo is any good or if somebody would be trading for preloaded brass they would need to pull the bullet on. I live 10 miles into the middle of nowhere from a little town called Crockett, Texas. The closest "big city" to me is Nacogdoches, Texas.

GOB,
I have been to Crockett; BOTH city limits signs were on the SAME post! Is that still the same today? LOL. I have been looking for 8MM French Lebel ammo, 8 MM Kropatchek ammo and 8X50mm Austrian ammo and clips. If you have any 6.5 Rumanian ammo and clips, I could use that stuff, too. Adam

And no the sign is on its own post now. GoodOlBoy

??CROCKETT??
Adam,
Latexo, is the town close to Crockett that had the sign that on one side said "Welcome to Latexo" on the other side it said "Thanks for Visiting Latexo". That town is a couple of miles outside of Crockett. Unless you are alot older than even I can remember, Crockett has had at least 2 signs since I was a little kid. They may not have been very far apart but there were at least 2 signs. GoodOlBoys, load of ammo (I haven't seen it yet!) sounds like a bunch of surplus military sizes. Some of it has been described to me as being in the original packaging and still sealed. Will try to help GoodOlBoy sort through some of it real soon. Bulletpusher
