Hornady SST bullets

I have already postedone thread asking some questions about this particular bullet for my 6MM. I was wondering though if any of you have used this bullet at all and what you think about it. I guess to be more specific about my question: How did this bullet perform and would you recommend it? Thanks for your help on this one.

This question comes up alot on the 4 forums I surf. In general the consensus is that they are pretty explosive. I've personally cut them apart and they are built like an interlock except the plastic tip really gets things happening quick.
Much like the nosler ballistic tip there are those out there that like big holes in deer sized animals and those that don't. If you expect 300 yd shots or for some reason load to lower speeds you might like them.
I used to load the 270's for a buddy and he doesn't want anymore....he shot alot of deer and had alot of big holes and bloodshot meat....although deer never ran to another hunting party.
Some people like them and think they penetrate as well as lead tipped bullets but they are in about a 1:5 minority.
