America today..Who won the war?
What is the story here?
What happened to the radiation that's supposed to last thousands of years?? HIROSHIMA 1945 We all know that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in August 1945 after explosion of atomic bombs. However, we know little about the progress made by the people of that land during the past 64 years. HIROSHIMA - 64 YEARS LATER DETROIT - 64 YEARS AFTER HIROSHIMA This might not work here but I will try it. Who won the war?

All the photos I figured would take up too much space but they showed Hiroshima in 1945 after it was flattened.
Then photos now in 2010 with one of the largest full blown cities in the world. Then photos of Detroit in 2010. Could be any city in America. Buildings sitting empty, falling down. Mills torn to the ground never to be active again. Not a soul anywhere. No jobs. America now. So what did happen to all the radiation? DON'T FORGET TO VOTE TUESDAY.

Coming from a union man who was a shop steward for more years than I care to count, I blame the greed of the unions who wanted everything they could get away with and not do any more work than they had to in the process.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There is no way that I can see our industry coming back to our shores unless the unions are reined in and start to scale back all their goodies in benefits. The union at one time was a good thing. They brought th American standard of living up well above any other country in the world. Problem is, they always want more and more and indutry said, "To hell with this." and moved out of the country. It was our industry that made the differenece in WW-2. God help this country if we're ever in another world war. Everything run by computer with chips and steel from Japan and other countries and God knows what else from "over there", we'll be in a world of s--t thanks to the greed of the union worker and the corporations. Somebody just ain't thinking and "Big broher isn't doing anything because the lobbies spend too much to keep the status quo. Paul B. |

All good points
The really sad part is that we are without true leaders today and no one wants to tackle the tough issues. Where is John Wayne when we need him?
