Recent finds

I have a few favorite gun shops and they have not disappointed me. About a month ago, they had a mint No.4 Mark 1 Enfield that I got cheap. As a bonus, they offered me a great deal on German Kar98k and I took it. Today I came across a U.S. 1917 Enfield (made by Remington) that had a bad barrel and a cheap price, but I passed on it. Right next to it was a mint 1903-A3 (Remington) with a four groove barrel. I put that on lay away. Decent military stuff is getting harder to find. If you see it, want it and can get it cheap, go for it. Take care...

You have some good shops in your area. Hard to find military stuff at local gun store. By that I mean pre AK-AR firearms. Here the best bet is gun shoes, but haven't seen any great buys. Congradulations on your finds.

Joe,

My barn is empty at present, sans livestock, so park all your military arm "Finds" here so I can keep an eye on them for you.
