Has Anyone Ever Heard of ......
Blue Wonder.
I was at a local sporting goods store over the weekend, looking to pick up some cleaning patches and bore cleaner. They were out of Shooters Choise (my usual pick) and I though I was out of luck. All of the other products that I found on the shelf was Hoppies No. 9 powder solvent and some cans of spray lube. I was fixing to leave and I notices this tube of something on a lower shelf. Blue Wonder. The label says that it is for Copper, Lead and Powder removel from the bore of a firearm, and that it will not hurt the blueing on the barrel. I bought a tube to try. I was just wondering if anyone else had ever heard of this product or tried it. Also was wondering how good it worked. I've had a problem with the last lead bullets I loaded in my .45 Colt cartridges that are leading my barrels and I was looking for something that would help remove it. Any responses would be helpfull, and after I try it I'll keep anyone thats interested posted on how well it worked. Bulletpusher

Well I finally got around to trying the Blue Wonder as talked about above.
I must say that I was extremly pleased with the results. I just followed the instructions on the tube and applied the jell to the brush, then worked it up and down the barrel a few times. I then let it set and then wiped it from the bore followed by an oiled patch. The instructions say to do the application two times before removing it from the barrel and I think that would completely remove any finial leading that was in my barrel. However, I was at the range and was really wanting to shoot my Blackhawk not clean it, so I just did one application to see what it would do. It worked as good and in fact was better than alot of the other products that I've tryed in the past. I intend to do a full clean job on my Blackhawk and I think from the short test that I tried that it will do exactly what it says it will do. Blue Wander is I think something that I will use alot in the future. Bulletpusher. P.S. I originally had written that it was call Wonder Blue, please note that was not correct. (Sorry I had a Oldtimers moment). This stuf is call Blue Wonder.

I tried some about 3 months ago and I was also really pleased with the way it worked. I probably will keep on using it in the future also.
