Supreme Court news
My response to the editor on this yesterday...boy was I hot over this...
Florida has not forgotten My how memories are short. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of illegal aliens over the safety and security of its own citizens. I read the poignant piece by Ruth Morris, staff writer, this morning of prisoners families anxiously awaiting incarcerated family members who are due to be released because of the courts decision. They are estimating about a thousand illegal’s who were convicted of violent crimes have to be released due to the fact they cannot be deported, as no other country will accept them. My memory is still vivid of the Mariel boatlift debacle. My recollections are imprinted of the pregnant Miami woman and her unborn child who died when her car was hijacked and then she was dragged hundreds of feet, or the shop owners who were needlessly executed for a few dollars in their cash registers. The homeowners who answered their doors and the term “home invasion” became common verbage. The quote “The release of high risk criminals and mentally ill, unleashed to U.S. shores was an unprecedented act by a third world country”. The kidnapping, rape and dismemberment of Jimmy Ryce by a persecuted, freedom seeking refugee. Yea Ruth, my heart bleeds for these guys. Maybe the 1984 and 1987 rampage and hostage taking should jar a few memories. The Mariel boatlift was a rape of a state that Floridians have never recovered from. Now, we will once again, be an unwilling victim due to the courts endeavors to insure fairness to criminals.
