Application Season

I started sending out and doing some on-line big-game applications for fall, and just looked on Wisconsins website for spring turkey results. I am getting pumped up already, a tag for the local area and one for near my aunt and uncles home. Sending out applications makes me want an update on the effect of the winter on game in the western states, any information out there?

The winter shouldn't have had an effect on anything in Wyoming yet , as we haven't had enough snow to create any problems. I haven't heard anything about any diseases that have been running rampant, but we always lose some to blue tongue, but that is usually during the fall. I've been talking to some guys that yote hunt and they have been telling me that the yotes have been taking a toll.

South Dakota too mild a winter and no snow to speak of.
Ditto on the yotes I saw one the other day and looked mangy as heck.
