Talking Can somebody help me?

I went and finally dun it..at 30 yrs of age..I went and got me a cell phone.
That 2 yr contract thing liked to have killed me..I hate any kind of contract..but I settled on Verizon wireless, and I only had to pay the 20$ fer the 2 phones I got. Everybody at werk kept tellin me bout them askin fer big down payments, but they aint ask me fer nuthin but the 20..oh well I musta winked at em right er sumthin
I am totally clueless to this crap, and the more I read in the userguide thingy, the werse off I got. Now, I aint by no means a dummy..I just dont want to wind up w/ a 400$ bill next month insteada the 59.99$ I signed up fer...I hear that happens alot.

I'm home today..I got the dern strep throat. That medicine the doc gave is likin to kill me..I dunno which is worse, the meds er the strep throat..lol

Anyways, enuf of my jawwin..here's my delimma. Ya see, I went to that vtext.com thing, where you can download ringtones and stuff. Well, the bash***s are 1.99$ each! OK, I can afford to spend a few bucks...but I like alot of em on there. So, here's my faves, ya'll help me pick out the best ones outta the bunch..iffin ya'll dont mind that is:

1. Sanford & Son theme (that's just the most awesome thing since prime moonshine...well..almost)

2. Sweet Home Alabama

3. Dixie

4. Man of Constant Sorrow (the best..but it sounds stupid)
p.s I aint had the chance to tell ya'll I seen Ralph Stanly in concert weekend fore last in Appomatox. Got him to autograph my CD too...awesome show!

5. Rocky Top

6. Foxy Lady -Jimi

Iffin ya'll can think of any other gooduns, let me know!

Red, aint you a Dixie girl? My verizon has the tones in the phone. You just lick which ones you want to use and can use different ones so you know regular callers when you here it ring. Mine is provided by the company I work for and they always only buy the basics. it is a Nokia.

I'm too cheap to pay $1.99 for a ring tone, so I just used the ones that came with my phone. The previous phone didn't have the ability to download ring tones, and I survived, so I think I will be just fine with these. Plus, can you imagine what my clients would think if Sanford & Son was playing while I was talking to them. Granted, my brothers equate Sanford & Son to me because I always drive POS cars around, especially the Ford Fairmont that I drove in college, 2 years out of college, and through law school. They had a blast with that. Every time I went down to their shop in it, they were humming the Sanford & Son theme.

How about a Dukes of Hazard ring tone?

LILRED...most of those with the $400 cell bills don't pay any attention to their minutes. I have to say this is where most go wrong. Also read your contract on the long distance and roaming charges...most don't charge for these. Example, one of my old truck driving buddies kept his phone set on roam.....by the end of the day...and the thing searching for towers here and there, he got caught with outstanding roam charges...so in short....keep track of your minutes used.....when go over the contracted amount, is when you start to pay over and above the contracted $$$...AAAAANNNNDDDDD.....important.......keep the keyguard ON when not in use.....I was talking to my buddy one day and found out I called my sister by bumping the buttons while in my pocket there by using minutes....but just by luck, we werent involved in any ( interesting) conversation.....so my sister said..

Mine is the James Bond theme...has been for years and I don't really even realize my phone's ringing if I have another one. Also if you have a flip-phone or a Slider, you don't have to worry much about the keylocks, they're usually automatically on while it's closed.
Lilred you seem more like the Dixe or Sweet Home Alabame type, and since you're not from Alabama...

Yeah I'm really payin attention to them minutes and the coverage map..I reckon I'll be ok.
Fabs..a ford fairmont..sorry..LMAO..that's a goodun..but..you gotta start somwheres and it got you from pt. a to b..so ya dun alright

The only thing bout Dixie, is that when the phone rings at werk, I just might be talkin to a black feller who might not apprecciatte such things. That would be bad fer business, and might git me in a whole heap of trouble.
I would love the theme song fer the Dukes..but they aint got one..so I think I'll stick w/ Sanford, Sweet Home Alabama, and I did d/l Rocky Top.
Fred Sanford is just the best, my fave Sanford joke of all time (which I use alot)
Fred: Esther, would you help me in the kitchen?
Ester: Sure what you need me to do?
Fred: How bout you stick yer head in the freezer and make us some uglycicles

Speakin of werk, I made a sign one day that said "Returns & Complaint Dept" and stuck it on the exit door...LOL
They made me take it down...I dont why they'd do such a thing..

I have a cell phone option idea.

Who really cares if their cell phone can play cheesy vidgames, take bad digital pictures, etc? My idea is USEFULL!

I myself equate my cell phone going off, as an incoming pain in the butt.
Except when I’m in a place, where I want to chew my arm off to escape.

What if you could get a phone with a button on the side that makes the thing ring until it is answered? Even better yet push the button, and a 3min delay until the phone starts to ring...

" Excuse me I gota answer my phone..... OH NO, Ill be right there!.....Sorry I gota go."
