My fruit and nut trees are under constant attack and I have lost several of them due to a strain of spider mite that was brought in from out of the country. Even Kelthane (A BAD poinson) has a hard time killing them . . . .

A few stand of newly grown american chestnuts do survive and are being watched closely.
Along the same lines the Ivory Billed Woodpecker was caught on video tape within the last two months.
