GUMPOKC

THE 300 WIN MAG IS A GREAT CARTRIDGE. USER FRIENDLY AS FAR AS RELOADING IS CONCERNED, AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE THAT IS A BAD SHOOTER. EXCELLENT LONG RANGE CHOICE. IT IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE TO GET MANY JOBS DONE.

I'M SURE HE WILL LIKE HIS NEW BABY.

Hey guys, no sooner than I get my virus issue straightened out, my wireless connection isn't working correctly. Got frustrated yesterday so I went on a groundhog safari during the t-storms that blew thru these parts and I'm just getting back on-line today.

Ich, Billy nailed it.
Wildcat Bullets has been been in production for awhile now and Starke Bullets is gone for good at this time.
WC Bullets has several options for you and the 300 WinMag has the speed for red misting critters for sure...
Click the Wildcat Bullets link in my sig line.
I've been using their 169.5gr ULD RBBT HP bullet in the 308 for long range shooting. Hit a groundhog at 327yds yesterday (on the first shot for a change...) and that bullet punched a baseball-sized hole thru it.
Richard, the company owner is making me some bullets in the same weight with more of an open hollowpoint to try. Can't wait to get them.

Nice info Billy and Skinny.

BTW skinny, let me know how those newer bullets work for you.
this summer i am going to try to get my CETME outfitted the way i want and try some 300-600 yard shooting.

am either goign for a new scope or pull the oen i have on my .243 off and put it on the CETME, it's an older simmons 3x10x44 wide angle 44 mag scope.

soe don't like simmons but it's been doign a great job for me for the past 10-12 years or so.
