Yellowstone

My parents are in their mid 80's, and don't get out as much as they once did. So, for Father's Day, my wife and I took them up through Yellowstone and the Tetons.

At Lewis Falls, my binocular case slipped into the drink, and the only way to save it was to step in the water and catch it. For the next several miles, I was treated to the sensation of a defintely cool right foot and leg, as my sock and pants dried.

Anyway, here are a few pix that you might enjoy.

I've been through Yellowstone over 20 times and it never gets old. I've seen elk, buffalo, deer and wolves feeding on dead elk. Always something new.

Nice shots DENTON. good you're remembering your folks BUT according to the latest(?) news(NEWS HAS A WAY OF GETTING OLD BEFORE IT COMES TO MY ATTENTION) Sorry for shouting! The Yellowstone and large amounts of the surrounging states are to be devasted by the greatest seismic eruption EVER in the next million years or so!! For myself I've decided NOT to visit the area during that period, particularly the latter half After all as my poor dear, somewhat naive, Mum would have said " If it wasn't true they wouldn't have been allowed to print it" WB
