Talking A gREAT aFTERNOON

Took my three kids out fishing yesterday afternoon. We all had a great time. I finally put my pole up, could never get a chance to use it
I figured it was more fun for them just catching, so my 2 girls were using a worm and bobber, while my son tried out bait casting for the first time. I swear the girls caught 50 panfish, mostly little runts, but they were having a blast.

They all got a couple of bass also, as seen above and below. The above pic is my youngest, Katie. She is 9 yrs old.
Below is my oldest, Abbey. She just turned 15
Here bass was just under 14", and man, did she want to keep it.

The last pic is my son, Josh. He is 11. As I said, he tried out bait casting, and it turned out this was his only fish of the afternoon, but the boy stuck with it. I couldn't talk him into switching over to a bobber so he might catch a few more.

I hear ya GOB. My wife thinks I'm kidding when I say that the boy will have to come to the door and meet me, and I will busy cleaning my guns at that time.

Wrenchman, we were on Thompson Lake here in Howell. Bass seem to be making a little comeback on it again, hopefully. This lake was the only reason my wife got me to move into this subdivision, I can hook up my boat out of the garage on be on the water in less than ten minutes.
But you outta see all the goofy looks I get fishin out of my ski boat.

Awesome pics! It's always fun to go fishing with the family, and I know it's tough to leave without the young ones.
