A Few Whitetails.

Hi All,
I got me a new Digital Camera Sunday (Konica Minolta Dimage Z5) & went out this evening & shot a few pics. I don't know anything about how to set the thing on manual yet.. but, I'm doing my homework! lol

All of these were taken on auto in fairly low light (about dark) & I compressed them quite a bit & I resized them from 2560 x 1920 to 650 x 488. They still don't look to bad though!?

I should be able to FINALLY get some good close-ups now w/the 12X Optical 48X Digital zoom! lol It also does VGA quality video w/sound.. it looks great also.

What do you all think?
Later, Phil B.

Nice looking pictures; however, they are never the same as being there. My pics of the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and Italy just pale in comparison to actually being there. How can a person take a picture of the Sistine Chapel, show it to somebody, and expect them to be as awed as I was when I walked in that place. Same goes for the huge churches and the Grand Canyon. How can somebody understand that it take days to walk across it, and the river in the pic is 8 miles away and it happens to be huge.

I have been throwing around the idea of buying a new camera. The Sony Cybershot I have has 5.1 Megapixels and it takes really nice pics and has some pretty decent zoom power. However, I would like a digital camera that acts like a real camera and I am leaning toward the Canon because you can take pictures pretty quick with it and the camera lens can be interchanged and used on new cameras in the future. Of course, I also have a long list of guns I want to buy.
