I Need Load Data for 44-40

I finally got my press and components together. Now all I need is some data for safe loads using a cast lead 200 gr. R.N.F.P. and IMR 700-X powder. I am looking for loads suitable for both rifle and pistol for Cowboy Action Shooting.

Thanks.

There is simply no better source for that info than from my friend John Taffin.
Here's his most excellent website:

SIXGUNS

However, John doesn't list any loads for 700X powder. Be sure to read his other tips on loading this old round, and then you might try 4.5 to 6.5 of 700X behind that 200-gr cast bullet.

You can get load data from all the major powder manufacturers- right off the powder makers websites.
Try here: http://sst.benchrest.com/#powdersandloaddata
BTW, that site is a free link site to almost anything shooting related- and it's run by a HuntChat member.
