hunted north of pierre sd last weekend.
went pheasant hunting saturday, north of pierre sd. eleven of us limited out in several hours. had the great opportunity to hunt some private land for free!!! that was wonderful. probably saw at least 2000 pheasants flying all over creation. had we hunted it properly we would have limited out in 15 minutes easily. i was amazed at how many birds were on public land as well. it was great. pictures to follow in a few days

There are plenty of birds again this year and everybody that has land to hunt is doing well. I will be going out in a few weeks when the pressure slows up.

Looks like it was a great hunt = did you get a chance to hunt the big grass land for grouse ? I need to get the dogs out there soon for sure .
