Ballistics Information
Since some of you have ballistics calculators, I was wondering if you could run some numbers and come up with a trajectory for my new hunting round/rifle. It shoots real accurate and am anxious to see what it will do out in the field this winter. Have previously been a .270 shooter.
Shooting a Browning A-Bolt 300 Win Mag with standard magnum barrel. Ammo is factory loaded Hornady 150 gr InterBond. Sighted in at 2" high at 100 yards. Leupold scope is standard 1" tube, using Leupold mounts and low bases. Thanks for any input in advance. |

Vet, we'd need to know the actual velocity you're getting to run even a "wag" trajectory. What's printed on the box isn't good enough; it has to be a chronographed velocity.
But if you get that, we'd be happy to run some numbers.

Just about any kind of shooting software you can think of can be found here. Some isn`t free but most is. I`ve used "Point Blank" in the past and find it a very easy program to use and it`s free.
