my uncle picked some up for his 7mm and we couldn't get them on paper at 100 yards. Put in his handloads that he used last year, right on. Tried Fusion again, won't even hit the target. Big waste of money for him, I'm glad they work for you.

All that proves is that the handloads and the Fusion have very different points of aim. Since the Fusion wasn't hitting the paper, you have no idea what kind of groups it is capable of in that gun. If the gun were sighted in with the Fusion ammo, the handloads wouldn't hit the paper.

im on federals site and havnt found anything on the fusion. though i notice the 130gr nos partition is a new offering in the ammo line.

i also see that the only bullets offerd in 150gr for the 270 are the nos partition and the sierra game kings. maybe the gameking is called the fusion. the 150 partition has been around longer than dirt itself.

im still lookin i was just curious what bullet they were flinging from the fusion line. more than likly is some kinda coated balistic tip hunting bullet.

took alot of bordome to find that website.

www.fusionammo.com

they dont say what the bullet is but it looks like a barns

they use computer programed exspansion on impact.

sounds pretty good to me.

Evan

I seen a few posts on other web site and so far all have been very positive, both as far as accuracy and performance on game. The fusion is a advanced design based on the Speer Gold Dot handgun bullet. They have the jacket applied by plateing instead of added as a second component. A true "bonded core". Speer supplies them to Federal.
