Thumbs up Hey Petey...

This is what you need for those downhill shots....

Leupold's RX™ series of laser rangefinders set a new standard of range finder function and performance. With a wide range of functions, including Match 13™ Reticle System, True Ballistic Range™ (TBR™), inclinometer, thermometer, fully multicoated optics, fold down rubber eyecup that accommodates users with or without glasses, and advanced digital signal processing, Leupold's engineers have exposed other rangefinders for what they are, glorified tape measures.

Each rangefinder is tripod-ready and includes a belt case and comfortable carrying strap.

Match13™ Selectable Reticle System™

Tailor your reticle to the terrain and game you're hunting with the Match 13™ reticle system. Each of the reticles in the Match 13 system is available with the new Leupold Plus Point™, for added level of accuracy in pinpointing a target.

True Ballistic Range

True Ballistic Range provides a firearm or bow shooter with the correct range when shooting up or down hills or from a tree stand. A sophisticated ballistics algorithm is applied to give the corrected, accurate value, not just the horizontal distance to the target--which can be grossly inaccurate due to the angle. TBR makes uphill and downhill shot placement much more precise. Coupled with seven distinct ballistics groups, advanced software allows shooters to utilize TBR in any hunting scenario. The RX has three TBR readouts for rifle hunters: Minutes of Angle (MOA), hold over or under aim point (HOLD), and the equivalent horizontal range for which you should hold for use with your bullet's or arrow's ballistics (BAS).

The four models of RX include:

Leupold's RX-I features a 6x23mm multicoated monocular and is extremely compact and capable of measuring in yards, meters or feet. Weatherproof construction, multicoated optics, a thermometer and Long Range Mode make this versatile rangefinder a great value. Range: 3 yards to 750 yards.

Leupold's RX-II features a 6x23mm multicoated monocular and is the ultimate compact rangefinder for hunters using any firearm or bow. It features weatherproof construction, an inclinometer, thermometer, multicoated optics, and True Ballistic Range. TBR™ is compatible with most firearm and archery ballistics Range: 3 yards to 750 yards. Also available in Mossy Oak® Obsession™

Leupold's RX-III increases maximum range, adds fully waterproof construction, incorporates True Ballistic Range and an inclinometer--all in a lightweight, portable package. 8x28mm multicoated monocular, and illuminated Quick Set Rotary Menu™ allows easy visibility in low light conditions. Range: 3 yards to 1200 yards.

Leupold's RX-IV is the pinnacle of rangefinder design. With a multicoated 8x28mm monocular, 1,500 yard range, True Ballistic Range, waterproof construction, high precision digital flux gate compass, inclinometer and many other advanced features, this model is ideal for virtually any rangefinding situation. Illuminated Quick Set Rotary Menu allows easy visibility in low light. Range: 3 yards to 1,500 yards. Also available in Mossy Oak® Brush™.

Now I don't have to buy one of those "Thingamajigs" off of Roy!

Did you know that a 30+ degree angle downhill at 500 yards is enough to miss a deer if you're dialed in for shooting 500 yards level?
