Its about time
I thought you guys might like to know that everything is about to change for the better at JHB International Airport!! With the new system in place you will no longer be waiting hours to get your weapons released through customs. It could take up to half an hour now! YEE HAAA.
This new system has been put into place with a marketing plan between the SA Police and Africa's newest hunting trade magazine 'AFRICAN OUTFITTER'. Its a magazine that lets the hunter locally and internationally know what is happening within the industry through out Africa, from government and business. I have sent you my address by PM for the sample magazine. I would be interested in this big change and how it came about plus how the clearing process works now. I am going through Joe Berg in April on my way to Free State, so am very interested. Ed

Norman,
Just thought I would let you know that the magazine arrived today at my office. The photos are great. The critters are ugly, the ones with the guns, except for the ladies of course.  The animal photos are something. I especially liked the interview with Ronnie Rowland and the artice on Bullet Performance.By the by, I have settled on a 300 WSM and Sierra 180 Game Kings for my April SA Free State plains game hunt. I just like Sierra bullets and the gun shoots them real well. Ed
