Anybody watch bull riding?
Just wondering. I am a big fan of PBR, CBR, and PRCA. Although I mostly watch PBR on OLN.

I watch the PBR when I get the chance. I was happy to see Justin McBride win it last year.
I was also a Nascar fan until I found out what these guys win at races. Johnson got 1.5 million for winning Daytona and I think 6th place got $500K. That is just utterly insane. Now, I might be able to understand those prizes if they get split by the team.

ya, and the sad part is darn near everything we purchase is tied to a sponsorship and we weenies are paying for it like it or not.
i'll say one thing for nascar though, at least they hire people that can sing the star spangled banner and give it the respect and honor due it. the super bowel made the hair on my arms and neck stand up. why does everybody turn it into a jive a$$, hip hop rendition? i think that $1.5 mil is team earnings, at least that is my understanding. what the split between the owner, driver, mechanics and shop crews is i have no clue. also there are folks that i haven't mentioned that figure into this equation also. i'd sure hate to be the head bean counter for that organization. then again maybe i wouldn't.  racing is a biiiiig business.
