Does it have the R3 recoil pad or was it made prior to then? This is a pretty darn nice gun... I took a nice bull elk and whitetail buck with one in '04 and it's heading to Alaska this year to hunt coastal black bear.
I'd own one  What type of varmint rifle you looking for? Any particular caliber?

This one was made before the R3. Its been sitting in the safe in like new condition.
I dont really know as to a caliber. Maybe a 204, 6mm Rem.
