Huckelberry is leaving

The guy called last night and is bringing the female for Huck...my guy is leaving this am to take him to Palm Bay about two hours from here...oh my God...I am so nervous.....I insisted he go back and get him tonight...Huck has never slept away from home without me....I clipped his nails and bathed him...and just gave him half a pork roast....jeez this is nerve wracking....

Val, if I'm understanding what's going on here, he'll be fine. More nerve wraching for you then him. I do understand your feelings though. My dog has never been anywhere without me, and I'm more concerned about him when I leave the house than you can imagine. I'm sure he's having fun and doesn't miss you near as much as you miss him.

Val, so was Huck happy to see you? And have you been spoiling him since he got home? Haven't got to spend a lot of time on here lately, so haven't got the chance to check a lot of things out. Was you going to get a pup out of this mating or no. If I remember right didn't I see where you and your guy adopted a lab? How did that turn out? Sorry to ask so many questions, but like I said I haven't been on much lately. Take care of you and yours.
Say where is that Nulle at? Haven't got to chat with him for a while either? Did he find a home for that Brittany he had? Tha last time I chatted with him he was going to post some pics of his GSP while hunting. Did that ever turn out?

yea Huck is home and livin the good life....he was very happy to get back, exhausted but happy...my son still has the lab, well actually I have him this week-end, the kids flew to Ohio for a wedding...so I am the dog-sitter...anyway we had some horrendous storms here last week, my dogs are ok with that, but the new lab was at my sons...they were both working, he is kenneled during their working hours, my son is flexible and comes home during the day, but while he was away the thunder was bad...the lab chewed his way out of the kennel, then proceeded to chew the casing and part of the front door and carpet in front of it to bits....not a good thing...now we took him to the range and we know he isnt gun shy, but thunder is obviously a whole nother ball game with this dog...my son called the vet, and the vet said he could medicate him, but to date hasnt...as far as Nulle's dog I think he found a home...good to hear from you to, kiss your dogs on the lips for me...
