Anybody have one of these? How are they? Good shooters? I wouldn't be getting it for hunting, just for the sake of adding to my collection and shooting.
Thanks. |

Depends on what you want.
Plan on about 4-6" groups at 100 yards. Lots of fun to shoot, and reliable, but geared to getting a lot of lead downrange in a hurry, vs. being really accurate. Generally, the Russian made ones are both more accurate, and more expensive. I've heard good things about the performance of the Norincos... they are inexpensively made, but seem to perform well. |

What is the difference among grades, i.e., "excellent", "very good", "good", etc.? Obviously, "good" is not "excellent", but objectively speaking, how bad is "good"? Or is it more of a subjective perception on the part of the evaluator?

The standard definitions for modern firearms are:
New: Not previously sold at retaill, in same condition as current factory production. Perfect: In new condition, in every respect. Excellent: New condition, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, blueing near perfect (except at muzzle or sharp edges). Very Good: In perfect working condition, no appreciable wear on working surfaces, no corrosion or pitting, only minor surface dents and scratches. Good: In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning. Fair: In safe working condition, but well worn, perhaps requiring replacemnt of minor parts or adjustments which should be indicated in advertisement, no rust, but may have corrosion pits which do not render article unsafe or inoperable. It is not uncommon for sellers to take poetic license with descriptions, particularly when dealing with milsurps, which seem to often have a different set of standards. These, however, are the standard NRA definitions. |

firearms disc's
Most now use the % disc. 100% down to 40%. When I sell one via the I-net I always have my gunsmith insp & grade it then offer it @ 5% lower for safety and buyer expectation.
Less trouble that way Hnter
