Angry AZ. Tags

Looks like no tags again this year, guess I will look out of state. Arizona hunters need to look at AZGF, rate hikes on tags and licences, unable to get drawn. I feel all hunters should keep a close eye on game departments.

Well, I drew elk in 6A and Mule deer in 33. Guess I got lucky this year.
I agree, the prices for licenses and tags for next year are way out of line. However, considering AZ had to fight that lawsuit last year filed against them by United States Outfitters, AZ was forced to make a few changes to get around the suit which AZ lost BTW. Without the changes, AZ residents would have compete against the non-residents on an eequal basis, and considering that the non-residents pay a hell of a lot more than Residents, guess who'd have gotten all the tags, and it wouldn't have been us residents.
FWIW, it took me four years to draw elk this time.
I guess you can try for one of the left over tags for deer. I wish you luck.
