Cool My Boys Turkeys

I posted these on another thread, but meant to share them here as well. Im pretty proud of him. Yall probably get tired of me talking about my kids and posting stories and pics.... LOL

Anyway, last Sunday morning I took him turkey hunting. Worked a group of birds for an hour and a half. Finally one flew across a creek and fecne to us and he killed it. Before we could get up, another flew across and landed beside the flopping bird and he killed it. Filled both tags first morning. Hes pretty happy too....

You know, I dont know what those silly birds think. Thats not nearly the first time, spring or fall, I have had a dead bird flopping to have another come over and flog it. If I have more than one tag, I will sit a minute and watch. It happens alot. Im not too sure if I could have kept him on the ground, yeah right good luck on that , a couple more might have flown over and I could have filled my tags.

I dont care if I ever kill another turkey, deer, coyote or anything else as long as I can watch, be part of my boys hunts and produce those smiles. Thats what its about to me.

Andy,

I doubt I could ever get tired of stories like that, or pictures of kids holding two turkeys up and smilling wider than the grand canyon. Glad to hear about such a successful day.

theres no way we can get tired of seeing pictures and listening to stories about youngin's having a positive experience in the outdoors.

keep 'em coming. and give yourself a big pat on the back for insuring they have good life experiences like what they are being provided.
