Coyotes Near Pittsburgh

I am looking for a place near pittsburgh to hunt coyotes. Im just starting out but i need to learn somewhere. Is there a place i can get a list of farms that have reported cattle and livestock kills by coyotes. Thanks

Seanthefreak, not sure about resource like that on the web.
Try contacting the PGC Southwest Regional Office at this link: http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/pgc/cwp/v...a=463&q=150209
They should have an idea of coyote problems in the area.

I doubt there are any cattle/yote problems in the area. But I suspect there are small animal/fowl problems.

I'd head for Butler County. I grew up there, no yotes then. Last time I was there for a buck hunt (20 some yrs ago) yotes were all over Butler and Mercer counties.

Also, the local game warden would be (at least used to be) a good resource.


I suppose calling and a shotgun w/BBs or bigger would be the ticket for that brush country.
