Cool Finding a real gunsmith?

How do you find a real gunsmith?

Thank you, TJ

It depends

My recommendation would be to talk to a lot of gunsmiths and shooters. Ask for references and examples of their work. Finally, trust your gut. I did exactly that and found a terrific gunsmith just down the road. After 20 years of his work on as many of my guns, he is the only 'smith I would ever consider. Be aware, there are a lot of woodshed mechanics posing as gunsmiths around. All the best...
