From my family to yours, may you all have a very Merry Christmas!
Kind of nice having it on a long weekend. Just finished up the last of my shopping, and I have a pork shoulder in the smoker right now. That will be for tomorrow night at my parent's, along with some homemade summer sausage too
And... if things go right, I'll be in my stand tomorrow morning and stick another mouth watering deer. I've never gotten one this time of year, but I have been telling Santa how really, really good I've been this year. So who knows, maybe he will send one of the rejects from sleigh duty along in front of my stand.

Of course I'll be working throughout the holiday: Sun eve - Tues afternoon.
I did however treat the deer living near my house/cabin to a dinner tonight. I left them some goodies out back, and it didn't take them long to start dining.
