Blue Goose Hunting Lodge
Was wondering if any of you knew about this place...My guy has had this trip planned for a while and he is flying out in a couple of hours....with 6-7 of his buddies....I believe its in Altier Texas, about 50 miles from Houston....I assume they have their own runway...they are taking a ten passenger Lear...so that should be fun and minimal hassle....if anyone knows about this place, I would be curious....Val

I don't know anything about them, but I searched the 'net, and came up with their website: bluegoosehuntingclub.com According to their website ... It looks like it's mainly for goose hunting. You are right about the location - Altier, Texas. It's about 60 miles west of Houston. It looks like they have a nice on-site restaurant as well as the available hunts. Hope this helps, David

Thanks guy, I would rather be there than doing an inventory...I met with the adjuster this am....nice kid and a big hunter...says I am gonna need everything I am entitled too, which was positive...we talked more about hunting than anything else...he landed a 13 footer out of Melborne a couple of years ago, had the whole thing mounted and it sits on his patio....how cool is that...
