found fresh elk sheds
went out yesterday and found a 6x6 set and a 7 point. looked for the other side but no luck. i'm going out today hope i get lucky today.

 i live on the mescalero apache indian res in southern new mexico, by ruidoso.

Sheds
cool I live albuquerque NM. I went down to the Gila Mountains this past weekend and walked my butt off but no fresh horns. I spotted 6 different bulls and all of them had there horns, so i guess its still early. But found a couple of last years horns that were pretty nice.
