Groundhogs

Well I added the first two of the season the other day. First one was 271, second one was 356 yds.. Did miss a couple, o-well, I need more practice.

Skinny, i got my first confirmed last week with my new savage FHSAK .308, 258 yards with 168 gr. A-max bullet. Waited till he was facing away from me, the bullet went through his hip and exited at the top of the shoulder, and then took the right side of the skull off. Not as much carnage and mist as i had hoped, the hole in the shoulder was only about an inch and a half across.

Made it out last week and had a ball! The wind was blowing and the mirage was terrible!!! I did manage to get 5, 443, 206, 209, 316 yds..shot 12 times ..... 50* on Friday, hmmmm, and then Saturday before the rain, sounds like a plan.
