My new bow

Hello all, I dont believe Ive ever posted here before, but I just got a new bow and am so excited about it! My father surprised me with it when he came to visit me this weekend. It is a browning micro adrenaline with a 40-50 lb pull. I Dont have a peep sight on it and I am not sure I put the arrow rest on correctly, but I plan to take it to a sportshop today where they can tell me if its right or not. I have never used a bow before so I am not really sure what I am doing, but I have always wanted to bow hunt and I have been rifle hunting for a couple of years now, so I thought I would give it a try.

Congratulations! and welcome to HuntChat.
Sounds like your starting of right by taking it and having it set up correctly. Nothing dulls the enthusiam more than a bow set up incorrectly and thus not being able to hit consistently and show how much you are improving.
Practice, practice, practice.
Your opening up a whole new world of hunting, and it's one that will give you more ups and downs, but ultimately more enjoyment and satisfaction than anything else you've ever hunted.
Congrats again.
