My Winter Fun

Here are some trapping pics from this year.

I ended up with 72 reds.

I've caught 3 lynx so far and am still trying to get a couple more.

Nice pelts. Is that an average sized Lynx? That looks like a big fella.

Looks like the youngin is pretty proud.

Best wishes, Bill

Waidmannsheil Kusko, nice Reds. There must be quite a population of them in your neck of the woods. How much farther inland would you have to go to get into the Artic Fox? Nice pics, thanks for sharing, Dom.

Thanks guys, I was wondering if anyone was still alive out there.

The three cats I caught have weighed 21, 26 and 33 pounds.

We have a pile of fox around here. You have to head closer to the coast (we are 60 miles inland) to get the Arctics.

A couple more..

I like the pics.

I have a daughter living in Anchorage and a Grandaughter and 2 Great Grand kids living in Homer.

I have visited Alaska several times. It is a beautiful place. I love salmon fishing. If gas doesn't get toooooo expensive I might swing up that way this summer. Have to see.

Best wishes, Bill

It is always a pleasure to see how well you do on the line each winter. I am glad you still share the photos here with us. The girl will grow up too fast, I have a picture of my daughter with a red fox and it was twenty five years ago now.

Nice pile of reds Kusko - love the pic of the kiddo hugging the fox

Didya get a good price for the red at auction or not? I've been reading prices are bad this year.
