Shotgun Practice
How many rounds of skeet, trap, or sporting clays do you shoot in the fall to prepare/practice for hunting season?

Don't shoot in the fall.....I'm hunting in the fall! I shoot spring & summer. Usually just with the hand trap, about 200 rounds per session, and try and get out at least once a month from March to Sept.

I shoot skeet in organized club leagues from around late April until mid-September.

I should also add that, while it's considered 'hunting', I also 'practice' on crows (season opens next month)......great practice for learning how to lead long range waterfowl, incoming shots, ect.

It all depends on how busy I am. Five years ago I would tell you that I went about twice a month. 10 years ago I would tell you that I went twice a week. Nowadays, I'm lucky if I shoot clays twice a year with work and two kids. Who knows what the future will hold.
