Anything Special for The 4th

Any one doing anything special this weekend? Bride end myself got some Elk filets out and did German sausage and baked taters. May be last years but they cut with a fork!
Wishing all a safe 4th.

Four day weekend for me I was gonna watch the fireworks from a hill overlooking town but the entire display blew up the day before. Our volunteer fire department put the show on every year. Apparently, one of them was getting things set up when a charge went off in his hand. He and two other went to the hospital. The other two were treated and released but he had to stay for more treatment. He's lucky to be alive from what I read. I did go on a nice hike with a buddy checking out a possible hunting area, pics are at the link below. Hope everyone had a good 4th. Remember those overseas who weren't lucky enough to be with their families
