CO2 gun question/help needed.
I have been looking at a CO2 powered air gun. It uses a 88g CO2 cylinder. The gun doesn't come with one. Where do i buy one and is it a refillable cylinder? If it is refillable, what places refill them? I am new to these types of guns so any info will help.

The 88g cylinders are single use and throw away , have a look at PCP ( compressed air ) weapons as they are refillable and much more consistant than Co2 which is tempreture sensitive

Noting it's an old post but I'd like to correct. There are many bulk CO2 guns out there that are EXTREEMLY consistant. Many were used in the olympics well into the 90's and are capable of one hole targets all day long. ( I own two). Co2 also has the advantage over PCP in that it's workign pressures are much lower and refilling logistics cheaper and less involved. That said, velocities are limited into the low/mid 600's and will change when dealing with weather extreams.
Also FWIW, Benjamin Discovery has good reviews and will run on either. Dave |
