need a string

As a kid I "practiced" shooting my dad's recurve. I was tought how to place the string on the bow by placing one side of the bow behind my left leg and compressing the top to catch the string as it was already looped around the bottom notches.

Enough of the history...

I came across that old bow and would like to get a new string for it as the old one is a bit frayed.

It's a Ben Pearson Super Jet Bow, cat. no. 336, 30lb

Anyone have an idea where I could get a new string?

BUT buy a flemish bowstring, don't go with the black fastflight stuff. three rivers archery (google them) will custom make flemish bowstrings for about 10% more than you would pay for a prefab fastflight string.

my 2 cents
