Florida Night Hunting Permit
Just a word to the wise, it is legal to kill some pests (Coyotes, Hogs, Armadillos, etc.) in Florida while hunting at night. However you must have a Gun and Light permit from the state and you must call in before you go out to let the F&G folks know where you will be hunting so they do not respond to a call about night hunting. The permit is free and can be executed on-line at:

The gun and light permit has now been done away with and it is now legal to hunt at night with a can and light, without the permit, for yotes, armaldildos and wild hogs in FL. It seems to me it would be prudent to let the F&G folks know where you will be hunting at night so you would not get picked up for Jack lighting deer.
