My Historic Patch Knife

A dear friend gave me a gift patch knife recently. It is about 9 inches long with a knife blade on the end 3 inches. The entire knife is half of a straightened horse shoe. The horse got a few miles on the shoe before it became my patch knife now affixed to the shoulder strap of my .54 caliber Possibles Bag.

I appreciate my first horse shoe knife like my first girlfriend who was the blacksmith's daughter. What comes around.....

Adam

Very nice Adam. Let see some pics of your knife. I bought a patch knife for $3.00 from a friend at the last muzzleloader shoot. it's handle is a deer bone. Here's a picture of it:

Johnny Reb,

I am an old "Dinosaur" and have yet to master photo input into these threads. Maybe, after you visit, I will be tutored.
