Hy Score Model 700

Have had one of these for years, but it got put away and forgotten. Dug it out and started shooting it again. Always amazed at the accuray these pistols are capable of. At both 10 and 15 yds. I can shoot it respectively offhand. They are a unique pistol that were made in New York city back in the late 40s and early 50s. The 700s were only made of a year or two the it was made little cheaper and called a Model 800.

Spring type, loads by twisting a cap on the rear of the barrel counter clockwise and inserting a .177. Has a rifled barrel that is about 6"s lng then a steel smooth section about 3"s long/ Mine has a mottled orange colored grip similar to the old Colt Woodsman. The spring is around the rifled portion of the barrel. There is a slde button on the right side of the frame that allows one to cock the pistol. You can open it just enough to set the trigger for dry firing. Mine has a very light trigger pull.

Anyone else familiar with Hy Scores, rifle or pistol? Would like your opinion of them.
