2012 Grouse Season

Well Sep't. 15th is Wisconsin's grouse opener. Am going to wait a week or so and maybe some of the leaves will fall. Well, may be I'll try a hike with 28 ga. and find a dumb one that flushes close on the opner if it is a cool day.

Early season goose starts today. Its just too darn hot and stick to go hunting. I usually start around Oct 1 with partiage and woodcock then a couple of weeks later start bow hunting.
