New Carry Gun
Picked up a new carry gun. Sig p250SC, 9MM. Shot one over at the range
and loved it. Will replace the 1911. Lot smaller and easier to carry in summer months. Dan Guy threw in 200rds of HydraShocks with it.....long term supply for carry!

The older I get the heavier these handguns get. With me when they feel heavy I leave them home which isn't good. My main carry gun is a Mod 60 SW in 38 special. Light enough I can put it in my coat pocket and be fine. I do like the Sig's. They are awesome. The 9mm wtith the right ammo is a good stopper. Good luck.

Dan, I got an FNH Model FNP is 40 S&W a yeaar ago. They are rather hard to come by. They are exactly like a Sig Sauer P229. Very light, until you insert a 14 round loaded magazine. Shoots like a dream. I like the haammer down on a loaded chamber since it has a great DA trigger pull. You don't feel you need to reposition your hand going from DA to SA. The power level is very similar to the 45 ACP.

Larry, the 250 is a DA only....kid was a Sig rep...bought it for his bride that thought it was too heavy. One I wound up with was the one I shot. On a silouette at 10 yds, they were all k5's....trigger is a measurted 5.1lbs. Paid too much but it shoots without a problem!!! Plus, in Denver the Hydros are going for $1.50 a round....IF you can find it! 12rd mag...
Didn't get it for a regular shooter, just a carry! Dan

I just picked up an XD40 for daily open carry. If I can find a decent IWB holster for my PT140 Millennium that will be my CCW piece. Since I'll be carrying pretty much all the time once I retire from the AF in a few months you can bet I'll be taking them both out as often as I can for practice

My daily carry gun is a KEL-TEC P-32. It is small, light, and easy to carry.
I own other larger handguns, but they tend to stay at home. gold40 |

I would love to be able to carry...concealed or open. Would be nice.
